Timothy E. Schmiedeknecht

SCHMIEDEKNECHT, Timothy E. - Age 54, died in Boca Raton, Florida at Hospice by The Sea.  Mr. Schmiedeknecht was born in Flint, September 22, 1949.  He was a Flint area resident for 41 years and the last 13 years was a resident of Florida.  Mr. Schmiedeknecht was an international plastics broker for many years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, a two time State Golden Gloves Champion in Michigan and a loyal football fan of the Detroit Lions, but most of all he was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.  Surviving are his five loving children: Ryan, Renell, Raykal and husband Fred Hester, Relean Woodruff and husband Aaron, and Morgan.  There are 8 loving grandchildren: Ashley, Raven, Eli, Zane, Sierra, Dayvin, Cassi and Kole.  Also surviving is his mother, Mona Wyrick and stepfather Gary, a sister, Angie Prieur and one niece, Kali.  He was preceded in death by a brother Kip Fanning.  Funeral services will be conducted by his family, 1:00 PM Monday, November 24, 2003 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. (Just South of Hill Rd.) Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 - 9 PM Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon until 9:00 PM.  Friends may share their online condolences at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
