Timothy Lee Idalski

IDALSKI, Timothy Lee -- Age 55, of Flushing, died Sunday, September 19, 2010. A private family service has been held. Fr. Gene Geromel officiated with interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Timothy was born July 3, 1955 in Alpena the son of Gerald and Donalee (Hines) Idalski. He married Stephanie A. Elmore on October 22, 1983. He retired from the Flint Police Department and was currently working part-time for the U of M Police Department and Swartz Creek Police Departments. Police work was his life. He believed in helping people by working to provide a safe community. He was there for everyone. Tim enjoyed boating, golfing, and his family. Surviving are: wife Stephanie; three children, Aaron Idalski, and grandson Kadin, of Knoxville, TN, LeeAnn and husband Chad Smith of Lennon, Emily Idalski, at home; three siblings, Daniel and wife Patricia Idalski of Flushing, Phillip and wife Toni Idalski of Clio, Mary and husband Kurt Pereault of Grand Blanc; many nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Claire Elmore of Lupton; close family friends, Rick DeShano, Dennis Smalley, Gary Johnson, Kurt Moffit, Laurie and Ed Whiteherse, Linda and Charlie Evans.
