Timothy M. Huffman

Timothy Michael Huffman, 62, of Granite City, IL passed away Friday, September 6, 2024.

He was born to the late Samuel and Althea (Hendricks) Huffman on March 10, 1962, in Flint, Michigan. Timothy served in Operation Desert Storm. It was his honor to serve his Country in the United States Marine Corps. on active duty for 22 years. He was an active member and volunteered at the First Baptist Church of Maryville. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, golf and being a handyman and carpenter.

Timothy is survived by his Fiancé, Michele Mraz; a son, Tyler Huffman; a daughter, Mackenzie Huffman; 3 brothers, Ronald (Ronda) Huffman, Thomas (Denise) Huffman, Kenneth (Shelly) Huffman; 2 sisters, Deborah Kirby, Cynthia (Martin) Haugh; and many nephews, nieces and great nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Robert Kirby.

A Gathering for Friends and Family will be held starting at 11am until 2pm on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Swartz Creek Community Church, 7400 Miller Road in Swartz Creek. Timothy was laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis. Online condolence can be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
