FLORIDA, Timothy Owen - age 65, of Davison, died Sunday, July 20, 2014. Services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-9 PM Tuesday and 10:30 - 11:30 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Timothy was born March 26, 1949 in Detroit, the son of Jack Lee and Maureen Hettie (Hooper) Florida. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked in manufacturing for over 40 years. Timothy enjoyed fishing, beekeeping and painting. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are: three children, Rebecca Florida of Davison, Timothy Florida of Davison, and Micah Florida of VA; four grandchildren, Mallery Gangraw, Claire Lesko, Damian and Devlin Florida; seven siblings, Jackie Hedger, William Florida, Lonnie Florida and wife, Mary, Michael Florida, Loretta Smith, James Florida and Shelia Miner.
