Timothy Dicks

DICKS, Timothy Allan - age 74, of Fenton, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 22, 2017 under the care of his friend and physician Dr. Jeffery Bossenberger. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Home, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Rev. Dean Dumbrille officiating. Interment will follow at Millington Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring to make a memorial contribution may do so to Trinity Lutheran Church, Fenton or Shepherd of the Lakes, Brighton. Tim was born February 1, 1943 in Toledo, OH the son of Norman Allen and Maryellen (Schneider) Dicks. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. serving during the Bay of Pigs. Tim married Marcia List on December 22, 1990. He was a builder/developer of The Hills of Tyrone in Fenton and additional building projects in Ann Arbor and Saline MI. Tim was a boat captain and brought many yachts from Florida to Michigan and captained his personal yacht "The Rose". He served as a police officer in Dearborn and Saline and was a Deputy Sheriff in Washtenaw County. Tim also served as Vice-Chair for the Livingston County Republican Party. He was a Christian, Patriot and Constitutional Conservative. Surviving are: wife, Marcia Dicks of Fenton; daughter, Renee Dicks-Brennan of Saline; son, Brett (Tracey) Dicks of Indiana; grandchildren, Katherine Hull, Lauren Zink, Matthew Dicks, Noah Dicks, Jacob Dicks, and Marcia Daghlian currently serving in the U.S. Army.
