Tim Boulay “Boo” - age 56 of Fenton, passed away unexpectedly at home on March 31, 2024. Funeral mass will be held 1:30 PM Saturday, April 6, 2024, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide Street, Fenton; Celebrant: Father David Harvey. The funeral service may also be viewed via a livestream on Tim’s obituary page. Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 PM Friday with a 7:00 PM eulogy shared by family and friends at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton; and 12:30 PM until the time of Mass Saturday at the church.
He was preceded in death by his father Albert Boulay, his father-in-law’s Alexander Teper and Paul Kuehnel. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 30 years, Leslie; children Aaron, Jacob, and Lauren; mother Susan, sister Jeanette (Jason), along with his nephew Drew and niece Brynn; mother-in-law Lorraine, sister-in-law Lynnda (Ron) with nephews Karsten and Nathanael; sister-in-law Lorri (Gerald) with nephews Jonathan and Joshua; many cousins and close family members.
Tim graduated from Adlai Stevenson H.S. in Sterling Heights and earned his bachelor’s degree in communications at Oakland University. He married Leslie, and moved to Fenton, MI where they raised their family. For 26 years, Tim worked as an information analyst for business applications at IBM and EDS. Tim often spent his time cooking for family and friends, fishing, listening to classical music, boating, enjoying time up north with friends, and being active in the local community as well as Applefest. He loved his family, friends, and community dearly. His contagious laugh, witty humor, and so much more will be missed by all. Though his physical presence is no longer with us, Tim’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who had the opportunity to know and love him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Tim to assist his twelve-year-old daughter, Lauren, with special need expenses to the “Boulay Executive Trust FBO Lauren R. Boulay”
