NAGY, Tibor John - Age 77, of Fenton, died Monday, June 6, 2016. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am Saturday, June 11, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Dwight Ezop celebrant. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Friday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM and at church Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the Mass. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home Friday at 7:00 pm. Those desiring may make contributions to St. John G.I.F.T. Campaign. Tibor was born November 22, 1938 in Himod, Hungary, he was the son of Istvan and Gizella (Kocsis) Nagy. He retired in 1999 from from AC Spark Plug after 34 years of service. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a former member of St. Leo Catholic Church in Flint. Tibor was a soccer referee from 1991-2014 for AYSO and MHSAA. He also volunteered his time playing the keyboard at various nursing home in the area. Surviving are: his wife, Claudia; four children, Christopher and wife Jessica Nagy of Nebraska, Jill and husband Don Wheeler of Arizona, Theodore Nagy and fiancee' Sarah Morello of Grand Blanc, and Teresa Nagy of Royal Oak; 7 grandchildren, Matthew, Jake, and Alyssa Wheeler, Taylor and Hunter Nagy; and Mary and Timothy Nagy; sister-in-law, Victoria Nagy of Grand Blanc; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
