Thomas Turner

TURNER, Thomas Jay- Age 74, of Gaines, died Thursday July 1, 2021. Per his wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly at a later date. Thomas was born January 5, 1947 in Omer, Michigan, the son of William G. Aldridge and Betty (Foster) Turner. Thomas proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from GMI with 25 years of service. Thomas enjoyed golfing, bowling, motor sports and snowmobiling. Surviving are: wife of 24 years, Marion Turner of Gaines; sons, Russ (Tivoli Fountain) Turner of New Hudson, Ryan (Mary Katherine) Turner Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Grace, Sophie, Ryder and Dashiell Turner; nieces and nephews in North Carolina.
