TRIGGER, Thomas Earl - Age 63, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Tom was born on March 30, 1955 in Flint, the son of Earl and Phyllis (Samson) Trigger. He was a 1973 graduate of Swartz Creek High School, and a 1978 graduate of General Motors Institute with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He received his Masters Degree in Industrial Administration from Central Michigan University. He married Deborah Lynn Carlson March 16, 1983 in Flint. He worked at the Chevrolet V8 Engine Plant in Flint before transitioning in to the construction industry. He last worked as a Project Manager for Roncelli, Inc. Tom enjoyed snow skiing, gardening, traveling, and boating on the Great Lakes. Surviving are his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Barbara Trigger of Shelby Township; nieces Danielle and Amanda Trigger; nephew James Trigger; mother-in-law, Jackie Carlson of Flint; sister-in-law, Barbara Kesten of Flint; and brother-in-law, Bob (Shelly) Carlson of Florida. Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah; parents, Earl and Phyllis Trigger; and father-in-law, Robert Carlson. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Monday, March 11, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday, March 10 from 1-6 PM and Monday from 10 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to the American Cancer Society.
