Thomas Daniel TORONJO

TORONJO, Thomas Daniel - Age 60, of Grand Blanc, died Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Thomas was born November 13, 1951 in Bad Axe, the son of William Roy and Delores May (Werschky) Toronjo. He was a 1969 graduate of Saginaw High School. He had resided in Grand Blanc since 2003 coming from Waterford and was raised in Saginaw. Thomas retired from General Motors after 34 years of service. He was a member of West Michigan Avenue United Methodist Church in Saginaw. Surviving are: 5 children, Thomas William and wife Amanda Toronjo of Saginaw, Brandon Scott Toronjo of Marquette, Jill Marie Doyle of Gaylord, Travis Lee Toronjo of Saginaw and Tracy Ray Toronjo of Saginaw; 5 grandsons and 1 great grandson; 3 sisters, Linda and husband Terry Koczenasz of Swartz Creek, Sandy and husband Mike Smith of Alabama and Cathy and husband Bob Maher of St. Charles; brother, Bill and wife Maria Toronjo of Saginaw; several nieces and nephews.
