Thomas Springstead

SPRINGSTEAD, Thomas Hugh "Tom" - Age 70, of Holly, died August 23, 2020. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2 PM Friday, August 28, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Robert Copeland Celebrant. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, with a rosary at 7 PM. Visitation will also be held 1 PM until the time of Mass Friday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to Autism Alliance of Bingham Farms in Oakland County. Tom was born July 19, 1950 in Wyandotte, the son of Jack and Peggy (Bowman) Springstead. He married Rose Ann Bishop on March 27, 1976 in Dearborn. Tom retired from Dow Corning, where he was an International Marketing Manager. He is survived by his wife, Rose; daughter, Marisa (Chad Knudtson) Springstead; son, Nathaniel (Anne) Springstead; grandson, Chase Knudtson; step-mother, Betty Springstead; brothers, John (Wanda) Springstead, Andrew (Bonnie) Springstead, Matthew (Brenda) Springstead; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Anita and Jack Johnson; uncle, Dick and Margaret "Muggs" Springstead. He was preceded in death by his parents.
