RUNYAN, Thomas Bruce- Age 59, of Otisville, died Wednesday April 19, 2006 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Â Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday April 24, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes; Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Â Pastor Dale Swihart officiating. Â Interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Â Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-9 PM Saturday and 1-4 and 6-9 PM Sunday. Â Those desiring may make contributions to Genesys Hospice or Hermelin Brain Tumor Center. Â Tom was born August 16, 1946 in Flint, the son of W. Bruce and Patricia Ruth (Lehman) Runyan. Â He graduated in 1964 from Fenton High School and has resided in Otisville for the past 11 years coming from Burton and Fenton. Â He married Judy L. (Battles) Duffing October 2, 2005 after a 27 year engagement. Â He retired from Penske Logistics and had been employed by Jones Transfer. Â He was a member of the Michigan Bow Hunters Association and was an avid long bow hunter. Â Surviving are: Â wife, Judy; 2 daughters, Amy and husband Gary McFall of Flint, Dawn Battles of Davison; 3 grandchildren, Chrissa, Jacob and Mitchell; mother, Patricia Ruth Runyan of Fenton; 2 sisters, Sally and husband Richard Bagnall of Fenton and Terry and husband James Karjalainen of Fenton; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Michael Bard of Swartz Creek and many other faithful friends.
