Thomas Pearce

PEARCE, Thomas Lager - Age 82, of Linden, died July 9, 2018. Services will be held 1 PM Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Saturday, July 28. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Wee Care Child Development Center for Playground Equipment. Tom was born October 2, 1935 in Flint, the son of Thomas James and May Nora (Lager) Pearce. He worked as a meat cutter at Koegel's, Hamady's, Kessel, Kroger, Topps and Sefa's. Thomas also was a salesperson for Carpet By Perry, retiring in 2000. Tom served as president of the Linden High School Hockey Booster. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and spending time at his place on Leisure Lake. He is survived by his children, Bill (Lisa) Pearce, Katherine (William) Walker, Mark (Sandy) Pearce, Kory (Natalie) Pearce, Korine (Patrick Carroll) Schuler, Kevin Pearce, Kimberly Santos Spooner, Kent Tift; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Pearce.
