Thomas Oldeck

OLDECK, Thomas - Age 83, of Flint, died Wednesday, July 6, 2016. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 10 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd, Flint. Visitation will be held 12:00- 3:00 PM Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society. Thomas was born December 5, 1932 in Saginaw. He was a graduate of Saginaw High School, served a mechanical drafting apprenticeship. Thomas received his associate degree from Flint Community College in 1957 and his bachelor degree from Eastern Michigan University. He established two corporations, DC Motor Repair in 1979 and Flint Hydraulic in 1985 sold both corporations in 1990. Thomas enjoyed gardening, cooking and loved to go to the gun range and modify his guns. "A man with determination." He is survived by his wife, Shirley; the love of his life, son, Thomas Oldeck II, his dog Sam and his cat Tigger. Special thanks to Ramon and Michelle Mont, Karen Coons, Don and Berta Campbell, Jay Hager. Thomas is also survived by a host of cousins and special friends.
