McEachin, Thomas J. -- age 73, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at Brian's House Hospice. Mr. McEachin was  born in Flint on March 1, 1933 the son of Malcolm and Alice (Heaphy) McEachin. He and Mary Ann Wand were married in Detroit in 1958. Mr. McEachin was a wood model maker for the automobile industry for 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean Conflict. He had been a member of the Knights of Columbus in Swartz Creek. His hobby was wood carving.  Surviving is his wife, Mary Ann; his four children; Jeffrey (Dawn) McEachin of Swartz Creek, Beth (Kyle) Lochonic of Durand, Kathi (Mark) Reinoehl of Swartz Creek and Jennifer (Greg) Henderson of Lennon. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Charles (Mary Ann) McEachin of Troy and David (Ruth) McEachin of Tawas City.  He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation rites have been accorded, however a celebration of life memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment of cremated remains will take place later at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.  The family will receive  visitation at the funeral home Saturday from 12 noon until service time. Those desiring may make contributions to Brians House Hospice or the American Diabetes Association. His family would like to thank Brian's House Hospice and staff for all their kindnesses and care.
