Thomas Joachimi

JOACHIMI, Thomas Howard - age 93, of Linden, died February 15, 2022. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Friday, February 18, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 with Fr. David Harvey officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM - 3 PM Friday at the funeral home. Thomas was born February 1, 1929 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Howard and Esther (Nolte) Joachimi. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Reserves. Thomas married Doris Zaidel on May 23, 1953. He retired from IBM after 35 years of service. Surviving are: wife of 69 years, Doris Joachimi of Linden; two sons, David (Jelane) Joachimi of Grand Rapids and Thomas W. (Katie) Joachimi of Fenton; grandchildren, Shelby Joachimi, Alyssa Joachimi, Mackenzie Joachimi, Chase Coleman, Jack Coleman, Addie, Coleman, Megan Harris and Kyle Harris; brother, Ned (Betty) Joachimi of Boston, MA.
