Thomas John Ijames

Thomas John Ijames, age 65, of Swartz Creek, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at his home. In accordance with Tom’s wishes cremation will take place. Arrangements were entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. 

Tom was born on July 13, 1958 in Flint, the son of the late Danny Sr. and Lillian (Gowler) Ijames. He worked for many years in construction and carpentry. Tom and Cathy Steele were united in marriage on April 7, 2004 in Fenton. He was a hard working and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. A simple man at heart he enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and hobbies at home. 

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Ijames; son, Ryan (Megan) Ijames; grandson, Bradly Ijames; sister, Mary (Mark) Johns; brother, Larry Ijames; and several nieces and nephews.
