Thomas Patrick Hoag

HOAG, Thomas Patrick, age 71, of Flint, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 at home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Fr. Steve Anderson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Tom was born January 21, 1940 in Flint the son of the late Daniel Patrick Hoag and Pauline May (Chapelle) Patrick. He graduated from Holy Redeemer High School where he was active in baseball, football and basketball. Tom continued his love of sports long into his life playing for many years. He was a self-employed residential painter and had lived in the Flint area his entire life. Surviving are his step-father, John Patrick of Flint; 2 brothers, Daniel Hoag of Florida and Dennis Hoag of Flint; sister, Linda Russo of Swartz Creek; close friends, Tom and Karen Bagley of Flint; also his companion, Sandy.
