Thomas Edward HENDRIX

HENDRIX, Thomas Edward - age 64, of Flint, died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint with Pastor Jim Reid officiating. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-9 PM Monday at the funeral home. An interment service will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Thomas was born May 21, 1946 in Skiston, MO, the son of Albert Elmer and Mildred Emily (Hodge) Hendrix. He was a 1964 graduate of Beecher High School and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Thomas retired from AC Spark Plug in 1996 after 30 years of service. He was active in U.A.W. Local 651 serving as a committeeman and designing the Local #651 25 year service ring. Surviving are: daughter, Jeanne Hendrix of Flint; four grandchildren, Jacob, Robby, Rachelle, and Zachary; brother, Joe (Lola) Hendrix of Conroe, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents.
