Thomas Greanya

GREANYA, Thomas Joseph - Age 79, of Linden, passed away November 20, 2022. A memorial service will be held 11AM  Friday, November 25, 2022 at  First Baptist Church of Fenton, 860 N. Leroy St., Fenton, followed by brunch. The family will receive friends from 10AM until the time of service. Interment will take place at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to American Heart Association or Homes For Our Troops HFOT. Thomas was born November 14, 1943 in Flint, the son of Thomas and Anna (Herman) Greanya. He married Neida Rogers on May 24, 1969 in Burton. Mr. Greanya was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from GM/EDS in 2003. Thomas was a member of Linden Sportsman Club and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Fenton. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Neida; daughters, Laura Greanya, Leah (Tracy) Greanya and Nanette (Brian) Edwards; grandchildren, Tiegan (Mark) Langley, Abigail Hamlin, Elijah Edwards, Emma (Quentin) Edwards, Emelia Edwards, Gracee Greanya and Eilee Edwards; great grandchildren, Ophelia, Regan and Malcolm Langley; siblings, Barry (Sandra) Greanya, Beverly (Victor) Clifford, Delbert (Charmaine) Greanya and David (Sandy) Greanya; many loving nieces and nephews.
