CAMPBELL, Thomas Patrick - Age 61, of Fenton, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12:00 PM Saturday, January 14, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Friday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM and at church Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of Mass. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home 7:00 PM Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Thomas was born April 21, 1950 in Detroit, the son of John Henry and Jean Edna (Poulter) Campbell. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He married Margaret "Peggy" O'Loughlin October 12, 1974 in Rochester. Thomas had been employed by GM Milford Proving Grounds for 25 years. He had lived in Fenton since 1980 coming from Royal Oak/Berkley. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Surviving are: wife, Margaret "Peggy"; 4 children, Patricia and husband Matt Simpson of Grand Blanc, Christine Campbell and fiance' Derek Lucius of Fenton, Andrew and wife Megan Campbell of Lapeer and Carin and husband Joshua Jackson of Fenton; 3 grandchildren, Mason, Izzy and Ryan; 3 brothers, Jack Campbell of Florida, Charles and wife Angela Campbell of Texas and Donald and wife Candace Campbell of Hartland; 2 sisters, Mary and husband Palmer Sesti of Waterford and Margaret and husband Rob Taylor of Texas; sister-in-law, Beth Campbell of Massachusetts; numerous nieces and nephews.
