Thomas Patrick BEHAN

BEHAN, Thomas Patrick - Age 55, of Swartz Creek, passed on to our Lord, Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Friday, April 24, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 1:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation. Thomas was born April 28, 1953 in Flint, the son of James C. and Mary P. (Hathorn) Behan. He was a 1971 graduate of Carman High School. He had been employed by Grant Hamady Realty. He had resided in the Flint area most of his life. In his death he gave the gift of life to others with organ donation. Surviving are: father, James Behan of Linden; 3 brothers, Mike and wife Shelly Behan of Flushing, Paul and wife Vicki Behan of Grand Rapids and Daniel and wife Talonna Behan of Frasier; 2 sisters, Maryanne Rykulski of Grand Blanc and Laura Behan of Flushing; 8 nieces and nephews; 3 grand nephews and niece; uncle, Robert Behan of Swartz Creek; and his cat "Nicky". Preceding him to welcome him to heaven is his mother, Mary "Pat" Behan.
