Thomas Acree

ACREE, Thomas Burdett - age 79, of Grand Blanc, died May 13, 2022. Private services will be held. Thomas was born February 9, 1943 in Ann Arbor, the son of Thomas and Mabel (Burdett) Acree. He was a 1960 graduate of Ann Arbor High School, received a bachelor's degree from Cleary University and a master's degree from Central Michigan University. Tom was a Logistics Manager for GDSC for 15 years on assignment in Cairo Egypt, retiring in 2003. He was a past member of the Ann Arbor Jaycees, the Association for Supply Chain Management and MMHS. Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Susan (Cartter) Acree on March 28, 2015, together they traveled the world.  He leaves behind his loving wife, Eleanor (Hunt Goebel) Acree, who shared his love of the beach and new adventures; son, Scott (Lisa) Acree; daughter, Shelley (Kevin) Dean; five  grandchildren, Christopher (Sarah), Jason, and Ethan Acree, Brooke Palarchio & Justin Dean; sister, Diane (Fred) Hatfield.
