SOLOMON, Theresa M., age 75 of Fenton, died Sunday, July 24, 2005 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30AM Friday, July 29, 2005 at the chapel of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St. Fenton, with visitation beginning at 10AM at the chapel. Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment following in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-8PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd, Fenton with a vigil service at 7PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation. Theresa was born November 27, 1929 in Detroit the daughter of Theodore and Annette (Denelle) Phillips. She married Homer Soloman in Detroit on August 2, 1972. In 1992, Homer and Theresa renewed their marriage vows at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with the blessing of Rev. Fr. David Harvey. Theresas nature was to use her ability 110% in everything she did, especially in ceramics where she exhibited her artistic talents. She had great patience and loved all animals, in particular her pet poodle Zak who was her faithful companion. Surviving are her beloved husband, Homer; 3 children, Daniel (Linda) Duvall of NC, Joann Piper of Jackson, Edward (Debbie) Johns of Romulus, 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Dorothy Buhler of Lake Orion, Delephine (Martin) Norton of Harrison Township, Maryann Carter of Washington Township, Rosemarie Terry of Sterling Heights; 3 brothers, Jack (Clarice) Phillips of Gladwin, Tom (Nancy) Phillips of Lake Orion, Tim (Sandra) Phillips of Standish. She was preceded in death by her son Charles Duvall in 2002, her parents, 2 brothers, James and Joseph Phillips and her pet poodle Zak.
