Theresa Lutz

Theresa L. (Dresbach) Lutz age 64, of Fenton, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. The visitation will be held on Monday March 6, 2023 starting at 10AM until the time of the Memorial Service at 1PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Inurnment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan at a later date. Theresa was born on December 25, 1958 in Flint, Michigan to the late Jacob & Eleanor Dresbach. She graduated in 1977 from Powers Catholic High School. Theresa was a nurses aide and after working for twenty three years, she retired in 2015 from the Genesys Convalescent Center. She married the love of her life, Max Lutz, on February 17 2016. Max preceded her in death in 2020.

Theresa was best known for her love of people. She kept social with bowling, golf, trips to casinos, family gatherings, outings with friends, as well as time well spent with her grandchildren. Theresa was talented in crochet and cooking. Her family will miss her baked goods. She and Max always looked forward to taking the pontoon out on Lake Fenton. Above all, her fondest memories were those spent with her family and she cherished her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, David (Sirena) Collins, Brandon (Jennifer) Dumouchelle, Nicholas Collins, Greg (Christine) Lutz and Nicole (Tim) Vannodstrand; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Corbin, Big Wyatt, Eleanor, Max, Little Wyatt and Aiden; her brothers, David (Michele) Dresbach and Mark Dresbach and many nieces and nephews.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob & Eleanor Dresbach; her husband, Max and her two sisters, Bethany and Mary.

The family would like to thank all of the friends, family, and the church that came to give her love before she passed on.
