Theodore "Ted" Slankster

SLANKSTER, Theodore Robert "Ted" - age 73, of Clarkston, went to be with the Lord, January 11, 2022. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Tuesday, January 18 and 12 PM - 1PM Wednesday, January 19 at the funeral home. Interment will be held 11 AM Thursday, January 20 at Acacia Park Cemetery, 31300 Southfield Rd, Beverly Hills, MI 48025.  Contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust (www.cst.dav.org). Ted was born May 7, 1948 in Pontiac, the son of Harold Joseph and Donna Jean (Curtis) Slankster. He graduated from Caseville High School and Saginaw Business Institute with an Associates Degree in Accounting. Ted retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He enjoyed sports and was an avid bowler. Ted was a car enthusiast, animal lover and obsessed with the color blue. He was a loving father, friend and faithful servant of God. Surviving are: three children, Janene (Jason) Juracek, Theodore Slankster, Jr. and Kale Slankster; nephew, Mark Slankster.
