Theodore Richard TULLAR

TULLAR, Theodore "Ted" Richard - age 74, of Gaines, died October 13, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Gaines. Visitation will be held from 4-9 PM Friday and 11 AM until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to American Lung Association. Ted was born November 19, 1935 in Vernon, the son of Ace and Stella (Domanska) Tullar. He attended high school in Gaines and married Susan Rebecca Merithew on November 10, 1967 and she preceded him in death on May 12, 1991. Ted retired from the City of Flushing in 1991 after 25 years of service. Surviving are: 11 children, Ken (Brenda) Rosher of Jenison, Jeff (Vicky) Tullar of Bancroft, Mark (Cindy) Tullar of TN, Laura (Stewart) Olger of East Lansing, Kurt (Michelle) Tullar of Ovid/Elsie, Teresa (Tom) Smith of Temperance, Rebecca Harris of Flint, Lisa Tullar (Dean) of St. John, Brenda (Michael) Simons of Linden, Linda (Jai) Kolleda of Gulfport, MS, Theodore (Adena) Tullar, Jr., of Mt. Morris; 39 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ace and Michael Tullar; three sisters, Joyce Burrough, Janet Caballero, JoAnne Tullar.
