Theodore James STORRS

STORRS, Theodore James "Ted" - Age 71, of Durand, died April 21, 2009 in Maricopa County, AZ. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. A luncheon will be held immediately following at the Grand Blanc Masonic Lodge, 522 Grand Blanc Road, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association or Adopt-a-Pet. Ted was born May 3, 1937 in Clio, the son of George and Grace (Brady) Storrs. He married Luinda L. "Linda" Ballreich September 30, 1959 in Mt. Morris Township. He had resided in Durand since 1991 coming from Mt. Morris. He retired from GM Truck and Bus after 36 1/2 years of service. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 598. He summered 34 years at Leisure Lake, loved to travel, and spent every moment he could with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are: wife, Linda; 3 daughters, Katherine and husband James Hocut of Dallas, GA, Kimberly and husband Lawrence "Butch" Robertson of Stokesdale, NC and Kelley and husband Bryon Rhoades of Fenton; 6 grandchildren, Matt, David, Tyler, Katie, Grace and Emma; 3 great grandchildren, Matthew II, Alexis and Austin; brother, Eldon and wife Judy Storrs of Saginaw; 2 sisters-in-law, Jacqueline Storrs of Saginaw and Eldonna Storrs of Flint; a very special family friend, Sherri Brengan of Madison, NC; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
