Theodore Davis MOSS

MOSS, Theodore Davis - Age 87, of Burton, died December 28, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Burton Senior Center. Ted was born October 17, 1924 in Flint the eldest son of Theodore and Mabel Moss. He was a proud graduate of Flint Central High School. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he attended and graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in electrical engineering. In his youth, he had been a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Choir and the Flint Junior Chamber of Commerce. Ted worked for Consumers Power, was the national sales manager for Paramount Industries of Flint and was the founder of Ted Moss Agency, an electrical manufacturers' representative company. His award winning company provided lighting designs for many commercial properties from Flint to Sault Ste. Marie. He served as President of the Genesee County Electrical Association. Ted was very active in local senior citizens groups. He emceed and participated in senior shows, dances and senior Olympic events. Ted was a man with a song on his lips and a smile in his heart. He enjoyed performing karaoke, with one of his favorite songs being "Give em the old Razzle Dazzle". He was ever the life of the party; enjoying life to its fullest. Ted had many good and true friends and will be missed by all. Surviving are: children, Marcia and husband Rob Selley of Grand Blanc, Ted and wife Teresa Moss of Fenton, Janet Michael of Burton; brother, William Moss of Flint; grandchildren, Kyle, Teddy, Brooklynn, Samantha, Marsue, John, Caitlyn, Dylan, Andrea and Robby; great-grandchild, Devlin.
