Thelma I. Laurain

LAURAIN, Thelma I. - Age 76, of Mt. Morris, passed away Friday, December 8, 2006 at her residence. Funeral service will be held 3PM Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. with Chaplain Bob Coen officiating. Visitation will be held 6-8PM Monday and 10AM until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice. Mrs. Laurain was born April 29, 1930 in Flint the daughter of Grant and Doris (Derek) Lash. She had been a resident of the Flint and Mt. Morris areas all of her life. Mrs. Laurain was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Detroit Tigers. Thelma was a very strong willed person especially loving, kind and devoted to her sons. Surviving are 4 sons, Patrick and wife Stephanie of Flint, Mike and Kim of Clarkston, James and wife Diane of Port Charlotte, FL, Joe and Lenore of Mt. Morris; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ivan  and 12 brothers and sisters.
