EDSON, Thelma Marguerite -- Age 86, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, May 8, 2006 at her home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.  Pastor David Ray officiating.  Interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1-4 and 6-9 PM Thursday and Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to South Mundy United Methodist Church or McLaren Hospice. Thelma was born March 17, 1920 in Mundy Township the daughter of Claude and Anna (Selden) Mundy. She married Francis Edson January 4, 1941 in Linden and he preceded her in death September 7, 1986.  She had worked at Sears for 10 years until 1972. She was a member of the South Mundy United Methodist Church, United Methodist Womens Society, Roaming Rocking Chairs and the National Campers Association.  She enjoyed traveling, crocheting and gardening.  Surviving are: 2 daughters, Connie and husband Walter Cornman of Rose City, Sharon and husband Rajinder Chand of Clarkston; 6 grandchildren, Norman (Sharon), Mark (Beth) and Phillip Hamelin (Mary Smith), Annette (Steve) Downing, Mohit and Aditya Chand; 10 great-grandchildren, Diana, Danielle, Jennifer, Julianna, Anthony, Brian, Alyssa, Kayla, Samantha, Alexis; 4 sisters, Mildred Billsbrough of Grand Blanc, Edna Wentzel of Flint, Earleen and husband Basil Blanchard of Twinsburg, OH, Joyce Earl of Grand Blanc; brother, Gordon and wife Dorothy Mundy of Swartz Creek; 2 sisters-in-law, Evelyn Mundy of Novi and Dorothy Lohnes of Swartz Creek; brother-in-law, Alvin Parsell and wife Sharon; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Harold and Kenneth Mundy; sister, Norma Parsell.  Friends may share an online condolence or post a tribute at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
