Terry Scully

SCULLY, Terry Michael "Mike" - Age 73, of Linden, died July 9, 2015 at his home. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, July 13, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, Rev. Donald Neuville officiating. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Medical Team Hospice. Mike was born January 2, 1942 in Flint the son of Hugh and Louise (Sargent) Scully. He was raised in Fenton and Linden and attended Fenton, Hartland, and Linden Schools. He retired from GM in 1986 with 27 years of service and was a member of U.A.W. Local 581. He married Dianna (Case) Woodbury on May 5, 1990 in Linden. He served as the Linden Fire Chief and served on the Linden Police Department in the 1960's. He then served as Lieutenant on the Flushing Fire Department and worked on the ambulance. Mike was an avid Sportsman, sharing his love of hunting and fishing with his sons, son-in-law, and friends on many trips. For several years he and his wife worked for hunting camps in Manitoba, Ontario, and Houghton Lake, sharing his passion and knowledge of the sport with many hunters. He then worked for several years at Ironwood Golf Club in Howell. Surviving are: wife of 25 years Dianna, children, Daren (Dena) Scully of Fenton, Hugh (Liz) Scully of San Diego, CA, Michael (Jennifer) Scully of Linden, Sean (Michelle) Scully of Temecula, CA, Tammy (John) Pardun of Highland, Maria Rosales of St. Peters, MO, Dianna (Keith) Smiga of Pace, FL; 19 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren; sister Carol (Doug) McKay of Linden; mother-in-law, Dorothy Case of Linden; sister-in-law, Sandy (Doug) Page of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.
