Terry Paul Schneider

Schneider, Terry Paul - age 80, of Swartz Creek, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at his residence. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Pastor Jeffrey Schmidt officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the service time at 1:00 PM on Thursday December 21 at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association. 
Terry was born November 21, 1943 in Flint, the son of Anthony Paul Schneider and Dorothy Augusta (Stock) Schneider. He graduated from Southwestern High School and earned an Associate Degree from Flint Junior College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during the Vietnam era. He married Patricia "Pat" Paynter on June 6, 1964 in Flint. Terry retired as a Die Maker from General Motors in 1997 with 30 years of service and was a member of UAW Local 659. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid collector of anything. He loved his family with all of his heart. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia; sons, Timothy (Tamara) Schneider of Swartz Creek, Troy (Jenifer) Schneider of Tampa, FL; four grandchildren, Kaylie (Zachary) Heximer, Amanda (Jacob) Ray, Bethany Schneider, and Mary Schneider; great-granddaughter, Genevieve Heximer; brother-in-law, Leo Helsley of Elyria, OH; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
