Terry was born on December 6, 1966, at St. John’s Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Theresa (Grimes) Watson and Terry Grimes, Sr. He graduated from Hamady High School in 1985 and Central Michigan University in 1990, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Health Education/Business Administration. He then began his career in Pharmaceutical Sales, specializing in Cardiology, where he thrived for over 30 years, winning many awards and surpassing numerous milestones.
For anyone who met Terry, knew that he was the life of the party and would bring laughter and entertainment to anyone he met. An avid boater, Terry loved spending his time out on Lake Fenton, Lake Huron or down in South Florida where he spent many of his days with friends and family members. Terry had a passion for coaching football which he enjoyed for many years and the Chippewas (Fire up Chips) and Lions were his favorite teams. Terry absolutely loved traveling, reading, writing songs, entertaining friends and family members, a nice Michigan summer and of course, a Jack on the rocks. Terry’s biggest passion though, was being a father to his 3 children. Tyler, Trenton and Theodora were his world and he spent most of his life pouring his love, sense of humor and knowledge into them.
Those left to carry on his legacy and memory are: his wife, Julie Grimes; children, Tyler (Aly) Grimes, Trenton Grimes and Theodora Grimes; Grandchild, Harrison Grimes; Mother, Theresa (Guy) Watson; Father, Terry (Nancy) Grimes, Sr.; Sister, Karen (Mark), Chaffer; Sister-in-law, Kelli (Nicole) Johnson; Brother-in-law, Michael (Allison) Lavender. Preceding in death and welcomed to heaven by Grandparents, Alma and Neil Rohner, Harry and Mildred Grimes; Uncle, Gregory Rohner; Mother and Father-in-law, Sharon Johnson and Guy Lavender.
