PAPPAS, Tammy M. (Compeau) - Age 36, of Linden/Fenton, died Sunday, December 14, 2003 as the result of an automobile accident. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, December 18, 2003 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Faussett Rd., Deerfield Twp., Fr. Gregg Pleiness celebrant. Burial will following St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-9 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. A vigil service will be held 7 PM Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Augustine Catholic Church. Tammy was born August 27, 1967 in Flint, the daughter of Robert and Helen (Thornton) Compeau and had lived in the Fenton area most of her life. Tammy was a graduate of Fenton High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. She was also a graduate of University of Michigan, Flint and earned a Masters Degree from Marygrove College. Tammy taught 7th Grade Science in the Oscoda School District and was a member of MEA. She married Paul P. Pappas on June 28, 2003 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Surviving are: husband, Paul; parents, Robert and Helen Compeau of Fenton; in-laws, Lester and Barbara Pappas of Owosso; brother, Anthony and wife Jamie Compeau of Holly; sister, Annette and husband Scott Ortega of Grand Blanc; grandparents, Andrew and Doris Ella Prieur of Spruce; grandmother-in-law, Catherine Thiede of Owosso; niece and nephews, Kalie and Mark Compeau, Quentin Ortega; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, David in 1999; grandparents, Roy and Helen Thornton; grandfather-in-law, Paul Thiede.
