Sybil Lenore CAREY

CAREY, Sybil Lenore, age 76, of Flushing, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Funeral services will be 1PM Saturday, January 9, 2010 from Trinity Baptist Church, 4222 N. Elms Road, Flushing, with interment in Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1-8 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to American Heart Association. Lenore was born in London, Kentucky, the daughter of Clyde and R. Burdette (Adams) Brown. She had worked in the office of Farm Bureau Insurance Company for 19 years retiring in 1989. She married Lawerence F. Carey in 1948. He preceded her in death in 2006. Survivors include; daughter, Linda (Michael) Golz of Wadsworth, Ohio, son, David (Janet) Carey of Swartz Creek, daughter Frances (Karl) Beaudry, of New Port Richey, Florida, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Conrad Brown, a sister, Marie "Bunny" Bennett, and a grandson Jeffery Little.
