Susanne Talt

TALT, Susanne Marie (O'Sullivan) - age 77, of Swartz Creek, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2007 at her residence. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Monday and 2-4 and 6-9 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Genesee County Right to Life or Boy Scouts of America Tall Pine Council. Susanne was born December 2, 1929 in Nebraska, the daughter of John and Leona (Monet) O'Sullivan. She married Matthew Talt on November 11, 1950 and he preceded her in death in 1993. Susanne was very outgoing and active in the community. She was a licensed real estate broker, a 4H leader, was a writer with the Grand Blanc News and had worked with the American Cancer Society. Susanne's number one priority and passion was her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Left to cherish her memory are: four daughters, Ann Talt Harris of Beaverton, MI, Kathleen Simmons and husband, Gary of Flint, Peggy Wittbrodt-Smith and husband, Tom of Fenton, Jeanette Chiros and husband, Nick of Swartz Creek; two sons, Thomas Talt of Midland, Matthew Talt, Jr. and fiancee, Ming Yan of Belleville; 11 grandchildren, Ryan and Amy Harris,Angeline, Lisa Simmons, Matt,Zack and Shana Wittbrodt, Jared and Courtney Chiros, Kaylee and Brianna Talt; two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Antonio; two brothers, John O'Sullivan and wife, Diane of WV, Timothy O'Sullivan and wife, Marie of FL; sister-in-law, Grace Taubitz of Hale; brother-in-law, Harold Roesner of Traverse City; several nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Colleen Roesner.
