Susan Elizabeth Whiteherse

November 24, 1948 — March 28, 2005

WHITEHERSE, Susan Elizabeth - age 56, of East Lansing was born into eternal life Monday, March 28, 2005.  Celebration of Susan's life will be held at 1PM Friday, April 1, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, MI with Father Dave Speicher officiating.  Internment will be held at Pierce Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2PM and 4-8PM on Wednesday and Thursday. A rosary will be prayed 6 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. There will also be a visitation on Friday preceding the services from 11-1PM. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to The Humane Society of Ingham or Genesee Counties. Sue was born into life November 24, 1948, the daughter of Charles and Bessie Delanoy, in Flint, Michigan.  Sue worked for General Motors in Lansing and Grand Blanc for nearly 30 years. She cherished being with her family, friends and cats more than anything.  She was an avid traveler and especially enjoyed trips with her husband, family and friends. She was an active parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas. Surviving are her beloved husband Denny Whiteherse; beloved children Julie Teer of Boston, MA and Jeff Teer of Chicago, IL; beloved brother Tom Delanoy and sister-in-law Cindy Delanoy of Shelby Twp, MI; sister Joan Schenck of Covington, LA; sister Helene Bernarde of Perth, Australia; several nieces and nephews: Meghan Dennison, Kayla Delanoy, Tara Delanoy, Sarah Teer, Marcy Teer, Stephanie Bills, Matt Bills and Art, Guy, Phil and Ray Schenck. She will be dearly missed by her many loving and dedicated friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jimmy Delanoy in 1978
