Susan Pederson

PEDERSON, Susan M. - age 71 of Hartland, died June 13, 2023. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church, 16214 Linden Rd, Linden, MI 48451 with Pastor Caleb Schaewe. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Friday, June 23, 2023, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. Visitation will also be held from 10 AM - 11 AM Saturday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church or ALS Association (www.als.org). Susan was born November 11, 1951, in Fremont, OH, the daughter of George and Winifred (Sorensen) MacDougall. She married Thomas R. Pederson on August 25, 1973, in Racine, WI. Susan was a pre-school teacher and owned and operated Little Lamb Learning Center for many years. She was a member of the Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church. She was a former member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church where she was active as a Sunday School teacher and the Christmas Program. She was an artist, especially pastel painting. She enjoyed gardening and her Ladies group in Brighton. Surviving are: husband, Thomas R. Pederson; three sons, Erik (Lisa) Pederson, Edward (Heather) Pederson, and Christopher Pederson; six grandchildren; four brothers, Jim (Erika) MacDougall, Terry (Judy) MacDougall, Scott (Terri Lynn) MacDougall, and Rob MacDougall; She was preceded in death by: her parents; and her sister-in-law, Wendy MacDougall.
