NERYCHEL, Susan L., age 57 of Flushing, died Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Brian's House in Davison. Susan was born in Adrian, MI. on June 20, 1951 the daughter of Lyle and Rosie (Dibble) Sherman. She has lived in the Flushing area since 1974. She and John Nerychel were married in Saginaw in 1974. Susan was a Latch Key supervisor with the Flushing schools for many years, retiring in 2006. She enjoyed camping, traveling, shopping and spending summers at Lake Leelanau since her retirement. Susan enjoyed the love of her family and friends. Surviving are her husband; John J. Nerychel, 2 daughters; Jaime Nerychel of Grand Blanc, Julie Tufts (Bill) of Ontario, Canada. Also surviving is her only grandchild, Boden Tufts that she got to hold and love for three short months. a sister, Nancy Reif (Bill) of Ellsworth, MI and nieces, nephews, Michael, David, Kelly and Jenny. Susan was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Rd. Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Rev. Rex Odglen will officiate with burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemtery. Memorial gifts in her name may be offered to Brian's House Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 1 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M.
