Susan Lash

LASH, Susan Raye- Age 74, of Byron, has went home to be with Jesus after a 22 year battle with cancer Wednesday July 22, 2020. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Susan was born November 20, 1945 in Flint the daughter of Emery and Marge (Teachworth) Lewis. She married Theodore James Lash on December 14, 1968 he preceded her in death on April 17, 2016. Susan earned her Bachelor's degree in health care and worked as an LPN in the home health care industry in the Genesee County area for many years. Susan had a dedication to helping people she spent many years working in geriatrics while caring for her family, she cherished her children and grandchildren.Surviving are: children, Marsha (Dave) Burtch, Joylyn (Randy) Fuller, David Lash, Marvin Lash Robin (Robin) Perry and Lawrence (Sandy) Lash; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Paula Joy (Jimmy) Guinn, Chari Hier and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Theodore James Lash Jr. and great granddaughters, Paisley Marie and Elizabeth Amanda.
