Susan Elkins

Elkins, Susan Lee - Age 66, of Genesee Township, died June 8, 2022 after a battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, June 13 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. (A live stream of the service will be available on Susan's webpage at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com) Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Sunday, June 12,  and 10 AM Monday until the time of service at the funeral home. Susan was born January 20, 1956 in Santa Monica, CA, the daughter of Howard Lee Warne and Gwendolyn Lou (Palmer) Warne. She married Stephen M. Elkins on October 19, 1984. Susan retired from Walmart Burton in 2017 after 24 years of service, holding many positions in the store over the years. She enjoyed traveling the country and the world. She enjoyed photography, crafting and crocheting. She was always a giving person with a big heart. Susan is survived by her husband of 38 years, Stephen; 4 children, Deborah Morey of Montana, Michael (Jennifer) Henson of Davison, Thomas Elkins of Genesee Township, James Elkins, of Genesee Township; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Richard (Diane) Warne, Michelle Woodyard; several nieces and nephews.
