Susan Kaye Brannon

BRANNON, Susan Kaye - Age 52, of Flint, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Susan K. Brannon Memorial Fund. Susan was born July 5, 1961 in Trenton, the daughter of John and Jean (Wisely) Covert. She was a 1979 graduate of Jefferson High School in Monroe. She married Manny Brannon April 4, 1992 in Flint. She was a volunteer for the Greater Flint Outreach Center for many years. Surviving are: husband, Manny; 4 children, Melissa Ruffin and fiance Kevin Vanness of Genesee Township, Daniel Ruffin of Pennsylvania, Jeffory Brannon of Flint, and Chico Brannon of Flint; grandchildren, Joseph, Brooklyn, Bella Ann Kaye, and A.J.; mother, Jean Martin of Newport; brothers, Lee Covert of Burton and Neil and wife Brenda Covert of Newport; several nieces and nephews.
