Susan Acree

ACREE, Susan Cartter-- Age 71, of Holly, MI was born in White Plains, N. Y. on February 16, 1944. Sue grew up in Ann Arbor, MI where she graduated from Ann Arbor High School in 1962. She is the loving wife of Thomas B. Acree and mother of Scott Acree (Lisa Hoadley Acree) of Hamburg, MI and Shelley Acree Dean (Kevin Dean) of Holly, MI. Sue is also survived by her grandchildren: Brooke Palarchio, Christopher Acree, Jason Acree, Ethan Acree and Justin Dean, as well as her brothers: Dr. Matthew Catter of Hartford CT and Christian Cartter of Vermont and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents Bud and Jeanne Cartter. Sue is a retired Cosmetologist. She and her husband loved to travel and filled their lives by traveling to 48 states, 31 countries, and 5 continents. We will all miss her sense of humor, caring nature, compassion and overwhelming love for her family. The family will receive friends and family Wednesday, April 1st from 4:00 - 5:00 PM, with a Memorial service starting at 5:00 PM at Sharp Funeral Home, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, Michigan. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to "Oakland County Animal Control Pet Adoption Center" in Auburn Hills, MI.
