Sue Ann Schmitt

SCHMITT, Sue Ann (Hergenreder) - Age 70, of Flint, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Those desiring may make contributions to Autism Alliance of Michigan, 26913 Northwestern Highway, Suite 520, Southfield, MI 48033. 

Sue Ann was born Janaury 21, 1955 in Flint, the daughter of Edward and Marjorie (Lefler) Hergenreder. She married Robert Dale Schmitt August 10, 1990 in Oscoda. She had resided in Flint for the past 15 years, coming from Oscoda. She had been a waitress for many years. Sue Ann was an amazing person who loved her family. She also enjoyed camping, playing bingo and playing cards. 

Surviving are: her husband, Robert; children, Tammy (David) Beattie, David Goodman and Scott (Vanessa) Goodman; grandchidlren, Danielle (Ryan) McCuddy, Haley (Terrence) Kurin, Taylor (Tyler Garcia) Mason, Zach Mason, Kialye (Marcus) Leddick, Ethin (Holly) Goodman and Ally Smith; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Rosie (Mike Slating) Sedlar and Bonnie Adam; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Marjorie Hergenreder; and brothers, Carl and Edward Hergenreder. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
