Sue Ann Petty

PETTY, Sue Ann- Age 70, of  Flint, died Saturday, October 27, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Home And Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint.  Mr. Donald Snyder officiating.  Burial following at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 7-9 PM Monday, 1-4 and 6-9 PM Tuesday.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society or American Heart Association.  Sue Ann was born April 2, 1937 in Flint, the daughter of Earl and Lillian (Henschel) Longendyke.  She married Hoyt E. Petty January 19, 1957 in Richfield Center and has resided in Flint her entire life.  She had worked for Bell Telephone, she then worked for the family business, Michigan Fence Company.  She was a member of the Christian Science Church and the Motivator Square Dancing Club.  She was a avid cat lover.  Surviving are: husband of 50 years, Hoyt; 2 brothers, Ford Longendyke of Otter Lake, Richard and wife Dorothy Longendyke of Davison; 2 sisters-in-law, Betty and husband Herbert Krause of Flint, Patricia and husband Randy Wallace of Flint; 3 brothers-in-law, Paul and wife Ada Petty of Arkansas, James and wife June Petty of Burton, Thomas and wife Sarah Petty of Flint; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Jerry Petty; sister-in-law, Martha Vorhees.  "Online condolences and tributes may be posted on the obituries page of sharpfuneralhomes.com".
