Stewart Lindley ELLIS

ELLIS, Stewart Lindley, age 87, of Swartz Creek formerly of Marlette, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Fostrian Manor. Services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Chaplain Anthony "Tony" Ferriell oficiating. Burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ovid will follow service. Visitation will be held 2:00PM to 8:00PM Monday and 10:00AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans of America or the Alzheimer's Association. Mr. Ellis was born May 10, 1925 the son of the late Grover and Charlotte (Wilson) Ellis. He married Veda E. Hilderbrant who preceded in death in 1998. Stewart enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He served his country in the Army during WWII and retired from G.M. Buick City with over 25 years of service. surviving are: son, Stewart L. (Kay) Ellis Jr. of OK; daughter, Jan (Bill) Seguin of Gaines; grandchildren, Robby and Jenny Ellis, Chris Schoenfeld, Chad and Jeremy Seguin, Sarah and Jason Rupp; 7 great grandchildren, Kelsey, Piper, Grey, Alexis, Hannah, Veyda, Jeremiah.
