Steven Paul Shepherd

SHEPHERD, Steven Paul - Age 76, of Fenton, passed away February 26, 2025. Funeral Service 1:00 PM Monday, March 3, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Visitation 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Monday. Interment Tyrone Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Steve was born May 19, 1948 in Detroit, the son of Harold and Pauline (Renfree) Shepherd. He married Michelle L. Paulen in Detroit on December 21, 1968. Steve graduated from Redford High School in 1966. He was employed as a Draftsman with the city of Detroit. He later served as a Parts and Service Manager for various Auto Dealerships. Steve enjoyed photography, gardening, wildlife, especially visiting the Everglades and West Virginia. He enjoyed 60's music and often said " there is a song for that". Mostly, Steve loved his family and his dog, Shep.

Steve is survived by, his wife, Michelle; children, Dawn Shepherd (Bill) Cowan, Jay (Julie) Shepherd, Windy (Ken) Nuss, and Dr, Steven "Skip" (Erin) Shepherd, Jr.; grandchildren, Kennedy, Paxton, Emily, Grace, Gavin, Abby, Nick, Olivia, Sophia, Vivian, Bri, and Nate; his best buddy, Shep, his dog; siblings, Rusty (Lurae), Paulette (Rocky), Janice (Claude), Sharon, Sandy (Tom), and Darline; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Pauline Shepherd; his father and mother-in- law, Chuck and Marelyn Paulen; brother's-in-law, Norm and Larry; nephew, Paul. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
