Steven Robert KEELER

KEELER, Steven Robert - age 59, of Gaines, died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at his residence. A memorial mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, May 19, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 9450 Duffield Rd., Gaines with Fr. Robert McKeon celebrant. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a vigil service will be held at 7 PM. Mr. Keeler was born October 17, 1952 in Hastings, MI, the son of Dean Robert and Alice Anne (Maurer) Keeler. He married Susan Walther on July 8, 1972 in Milan, MI. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Surviving are: wife, Susan; two daughters, Jennifer Keeler and fianc, Doug Pinkston of Swartz Creek, Katherine and husband, Lee Alderson of Fenton; two grandchildren, Brennon Pinkston of Swartz Creek and Ryan Alderson of Fenton; eight siblings, Carol (Gene) Washchuck, David (Marsha) Keeler, Nancy Keeler, Michael (Cindy) Keeler, Jeffery Keeler, Marti (Geoff) Ryan, Julie Keeler, Mary (Paul) Gailbreath; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by infant granddaughters, baby girls Alderson; his parents, Dean and Alice Keeler and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glen and Rita Walther (G).
