Steven Paul Govan

Steven Paul Govan, age 23, of Linden, formerly of New Hudson, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc. A celebration of life will be held 12:00 PM, Saturday December 21, 2024 at Community Bible Church, located at 7372 Grand River Rd, Brighton, MI 48114. The family will receive visitors from 9:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, please consider the needs of the family. Stevie was born on July 20, 2001, a devoted son of Dean and Suzanne (Ludwig) Govan. Stevie was a loving husband to his high school sweetheart, Jessica. He was a man after God, serving at his local church and pointing others to Christ. Stevie was known for his strong work ethic, working alongside his father and brothers at Geoserv as an Environmental Driller. Stevie was passionate about hunting and loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be profoundly missed by many.

Stevie is survived by his beloved wife, Jessica; his parents, Dean and Suzy Govan; and five siblings: Will, Audrey, Ben, Adam, and Sawyer Govan: and the family dog, Forrest. He is also remembered by his grandparents, Will and Sandy Govan and Karen Ludwig; numerous aunts and uncles; his mother-in-law, Wendy Sanders; two brothers-in-law, Ferdinand (Courtney) Sanders and Will (Olivia) Sanders; 3 nieces and nephews, Libby, Ember, and Cal.
